Introduction for Children to the process of Section 32 “voice of the child”.

As a Trauma informed practitioner, when I am assessing “the voice of the child”, I want to limit the anxiety, stress and fear of children who are already going through a difficult time.

My approach is different, I meet parents and children where they are at, literally, in their homes, their safe and familiar spaces such as school.

Sometimes parents struggle to explain to their children and to understand the process themselves, so I developed this introduction sheet to help. Feedback has been very positive.
