EDUCATION WITH FAMILY3

Family3 education connects theory, professional experience and practical application.

Sessions are designed to be accessible, engaging and relevant to the people in the room. Participants are supported to understand the ideas being explored, consider what they mean within their own context and identify realistic ways to apply their learning.

The aim is not simply to provide information. It is to help learning become usable practice.

 

LEARNING FORMATS

Education can be delivered through:

• conference presentations and keynote inputs;

• introductory talks;

• interactive workshops;

• team development sessions;

• short courses;

• facilitated learning series;

• reflective practice sessions;

• bespoke organisational programmes;

• online or in-person delivery.

 

POSSIBLE LEARNING THEMES

Learning can be developed around areas including:

• supporting children through separation, loss and significant change;

• children’s rights, participation and meaningful voice;

• relational and trauma-aware practice;

• emotional literacy, regulation and co-regulation;

• working compassionately with families experiencing difficulty;

• professional communication and boundaries;

• reflective leadership;

• sustainable helping practice and professional wellbeing;

• navigating complex conversations;

• translating evidence and organisational values into everyday practice.

Family3 education may be suitable for:

• social workers and social care professionals;

• family support practitioners;

• educators and early-years professionals;

• healthcare teams;

• community and voluntary organisations;

• managers and team leaders;

• parents, carers and family groups;

• multidisciplinary services working with children and families.

 

BESPOKE LEARNING

Organisations can commission learning that reflects their particular context, audience and objectives.

A scoping conversation will consider:

• who the participants are;

• what the organisation wants the learning to achieve;

• existing knowledge and experience;

• the time and format available;

• accessibility and participation needs;

• how participants will apply the learning afterwards.

A written proposal will then confirm the content, format, preparation, materials and fee.

 

THE BRÓD METHOD® EDUCATION

Education that specifically teaches The Bród Method®, its four foundations, participation process or protected tools will be clearly described as Bród-specific education.

These sessions will use The Bród Method® name and visual identity.

Other Family3 learning stands independently under the Family3 education service. It may share values such as participation, compassion and relational practice, but it will not automatically be described as Bród training.

 

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Where appropriate, learning outcomes, participation certificates and supporting resources can be included.

Any CPD approval or accreditation associated with a particular programme will be stated clearly in the individual course information. Attendance at a general Family3 event should not be taken to imply formal accreditation unless this has been specifically confirmed.
